On April 20, 2025, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) successfully organized a cultural exchange event to celebrate the traditional Bunpimay Festival 2025 for Lao international students studying at the Institute. This event not only demonstrated PTIT’s care and support for international students but also provided an opportunity for Vietnamese students to explore and appreciate the distinctive cultural heritage of Laos.

A Warm and Friendly Atmosphere
In a warm and friendly environment, students participated in activities rich in Lao cultural identity, creating a meaningful celebration. A highlight of the exchange was the traditional blessing ceremony of tying the lucky thread, a unique Lao custom where students exchanged wishes for health and prosperity, fostering cultural connection between the two nations.

Cultural Performances and Vietnam–Lao Student Exchange
Alongside the traditional rituals, the cultural performance program featured lively melodies, offering Vietnamese and Lao students a chance to connect, share, and better understand each other. These vibrant performances bridged cultural gaps, creating memorable moments and strengthening solidarity among international and domestic students.

Bunpimay Celebration Banquet
The event also included a joyful Bunpimay banquet attended by many students. Radiant smiles, sharing moments, and New Year’s wishes made the atmosphere lively and memorable, turning the day into a remarkable festival for all participants.
